How Do Vehicles Make Decisions during Implementation Period of Discretionary Lane Change? A Data-Driven Research

چکیده
To investigate and compare the lane changing behavior of passenger cars heavy vehicles during implementation period (defined as interval from start time to end a change maneuver), this study applies gradient boosting decision tree (GBDT) method model cars, respectively. Results show that models vary with vehicle types directions. Different factors are considered by drivers when implementing changes different Partial dependence plots GBDT reveal influence independent variables on is nonlinear complicated, which means same variable leads various effects across In contrast other state-of-the-art methods, proposed can obtain more accurate results. The findings indicate it necessary build specific based directions for microscopic traffic simulators autonomous vehicles.

How do surgeons make intraoperative decisions?
Surgeons' intraoperative decision making is a key element of clinical practice, yet has received scant attention in the surgical literature. In recent years, serial changes in the configuration of surgical training in the UK have reduced the time spent by trainees in the operating theatre. The opportunity to replace this lost experience with active teaching of decision making is important, but ...

In the competency-based medical education (CBME) approach, clinical competency committees are responsible for making decisions about trainees' competence. However, we currently lack a theoretical model for group decision-making to inform this emerging assessment phenomenon. This paper proposes an organizing framework to study and guide the decision-making processes of clinical competency commit...

BACKGROUND One of the most important decisions that emergency department (ED) physicians make is patient disposition (admission vs discharge). OBJECTIVES To determine how ED physicians perceive their discharge decisions for high-acuity patients and the impact on adverse events (adverse outcomes associated with healthcare management). METHODS We conducted a real-time survey of staff ED physi...
متن کاملHow Do Leaders Make Decisions? A POLIHEURISTIC PERSPECTIVE
Poliheuristic theory (PH) bridges the gap between cognitive and rational theories of decision making. PH postulates a two-stage decision process. During the first stage, the set of possible options is reduced by applying a “noncompensatory principle” to eliminate any alternative with an unacceptable return on a critical, typically political, decision dimension. Once the choice set has been redu...
